Selling to the Military

This handbook is an introduction to the broad subject of contracting with agencies of DoD. It is intended to be useful to those who manage the marketing efforts of small businesses, especially firms that have not previously had government contracts. The handbook contains general information about contracting. It provides lists of products and services, keyed to particular major buying offices, and it also provides a geographically arranged list of all DoD buying offices.

Subcontracting Opportunities with DoD Major Prime Contractors

This directory provides the names and addresses of DoD prime contractors and the names and telephone numbers of Small Business Liaison Officers (SBLOs), who are contractor employees responsible for the success of subcontracting programs at various plant sites. Also, this directory cites products and services supplied to the DoD.

Small Business Specialists

The location of Army, Navy, Air Force, Defense Logistics Agency, and other DoD procurement and contract management offices, together with the names of the Small Business Specialists, are listed in this publication by state and city, alphabetically.
