Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) -- IPAnet/PrivatizationLink, an Internet-based information service operated by MIGA, an arm of the World Bank, has helped develop websites for NIS privatization agencies. European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) -- EBRD has introduced a new glossary aimed at advancing mutual understanding between the Russian-speaking and international business communities. The two-volume Project Finance Glossary, published in February 1999, should be useful to banks, law firms, potential investors, enterpreneurs, translators and interpreters, and academics. Volume 1 is English-Russian, and volume 2 is Russian-English. Each volume costs œ50; the set is œ90. The glossary was compiled by the bank's in-house reviser/interpreter, Vladimir Faekov, in consultation with bankers and lawyers both within and outside the EBRD.
