European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) The EBRD recently published its Transition Report 1998. The theme of this year's report is the financial sector in transition. The report provides a two-page assessment of each country in which the EBRD has operations. Each assessment includes time lines of important events in the transition process and a data table indicating progress in several areas. The report includes country-by-country tables with key economic data as well. Eurasia Foundation Eurasia Foundation recently launched the Synergy Program in the Southern Caucasus to promote cross-border projects in regional business development, media, electronic communications, and municipal governance in Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.
