The FDIC in June 1998 published a brochure answering some important questions bank and savings institution consumers may have about the Year 2000. Single copies of the brochure, entitled “The Year 2000 Date Change,” are available by writing, faxing or e-mailing a request to the FDIC’s Public Information Center.
