        DALLAS -- The 600-page Army and Air Force Exchange Service Fall-
Winter 1997 catalog will be available in exchanges everywhere starting 
July 29.
        The catalog costs $5, but comes with a coupon for $8 off the 
first order of $25 or more. The book is divided into shopping 
sections: "For Your Home," gifts and collectibles, military pride, 
"For Someone Special," fashions, health care, recreation and toys, 
home office, and photo and electronics.
        Anyone with exchange privileges -- including active duty military 
members, retirees, reservists and DoD civilians stationed overseas -- 
can use the catalog. It is valid through Jan. 31, 1998. Cash, checks 
and money orders are accepted. Customers also can use Visa, 
MasterCard, Discover or American Express credit cards, the Navy 
Exchange NEXCARD and the Army and Air Force Exchange Service Deferred 
Payment Plan.
        Free electronic in-store ordering is available at Army and Air 
Force exchanges and selected Marine Corps exchanges worldwide. 
Customers can also buy hundreds of selected catalog items by using the 
exchange service's Internet site, www.aafes.com.
