Promoting Public Health through Protection of Drinking Water Sources

"Moving Forward From Assessment to Protection" Conference is intended to promote effective protection of sources of drinking water and is open to all federal, tribal, state, and local officials and organizations, and private sector and non-governmental organizations interested in promoting source water protection.

Conference Goals

  • Leverage momentum from completion of 150,000 source water assessments.
  • Promote coordination between programs (e.g., CWA/SDWA).

  • Identify opportunities to overcome barriers to implementation.
  • Share ideas and information on national source water protection issues.
  • Learn about ¨ Tools and Techniques, Funding Opportunities, Ground Water and Surface Water Case Studies
