On April 29, EPA and the Rural Utilties Service (RUS) of the U.S.
Department of Agriculture signed a memorandum
of agreement to better serve the American people through coordinated
technical and financial assistance programs. The agencies seek to
jointly offer the maximum possible support to small water systems
in complying with the new public health standard for arsenic in
drinking water.

List 1 and List 2 Chemical Analytical Methods and Quality Control
Manual, EPA 815-R-01-028, provides guidance regarding sampling,

Monitoring Rule. It replaces the previously issued UCMR Analytical
Methods and Quality Control Manual (815-R-99-004 and 815-R-00-006)
and Supplement A (815-R-00-002).
