Training on the
Arsenic Rule
EPA has scheduled the following training sessions on the arsenic rule.
Other training sessions will be announced as they are scheduled. The training
will cover state issues such as rule requirements, violation determinations,
SDWIS reporting, and the small system compliance strategy. A majority
of the training will cover implementation issues such as treatment options
and decision processes, POU, waste disposal, and financial assistance.
Participants can register for these training sessions through the Safe
Drinking Water Hotline (1-800-426-4791) or the contacts listed.
Because seating may be limited at some training sessions, if necessary,
preference will be given in order to State and Regional personnel, drinking
water systems providers and regulators, technical assistance providers,
and consultants. We are negotiating to secure adequate space, and hope
to be able to accommodate all those interested in attending the training.
However, if we are unable to accommodate everyone, we will host extra
sessions in Washington DC for consultants, technical assistance providers,
and others interested in attending the training.
