WHO IS?

Barbara W. Harris

Ms. Harris is the Director of ATSDR's Office of Program Operations and Management. She is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated Magna Cum Laude from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Ms. Harris joined ATSDR in 1988 and has served as the Deputy Director of the Office of Program Operations and Management and before that as the Chief of the Cost Recovery Activity. Prior to joining ATSDR Ms. Harris worked in the Financial Management Office of the Environmental Protection Agency, Region IV. Ms. Harris also worked as a Revenue Agent and Auditor for the Internal Revenue Service.
