HUD is in process of opening storefront offices in a dozen cities. The first storefront opened in Washington, D.C. in May 1998. Since then, storefronts have opened in: Baltimore, Maryland; Buffalo, New York; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Sacramento, California; Reno, Nevada; Syracuse, New York; Atlanta Georgia; and Helena, Montana.
