Updated 05/19/2000: The US Department of Health and Human Services has announced the availability of financial assistance, nationwide, for FY 2000:

  • Basic Center Program for Runaway and Homeless Youth: deadline July 3, 2000.  (126 grants, $14,500.000 available)
  • Street Outreach Program: deadline July 3, 2000.  (59 grants, $5,900,000 available)
  • Transitional Living Program: deadline July 7, 2000.  (32 grants, $5,500,000 available)
  • Youth Development State Collaboration Demonstration Project: deadline August 3, 2000.  (5 grants $600,000 available).

    HUD's SuperNOFA for competitive grants was published in the Federal Register February 24, 2000, with one NOFA published on February 16, 2000.   For information on particular programs funded, click here.
