HUD's Homeless Assistance Web Page is available to help you learn more about HUD's homeless programs, and to keep you informed about available funding. To help you navigate the site, select the Site Index for an A - Z listing of HUD's Homeless Assistance topics. Please select In the News if you would like information about funding availability, a list of the 1999 award winners, or information about upcoming conferences.

If you would like information about the Continuum of Care, including resources to improve your local Continuum of Care, select the Continuum of Care choice. If you would like to locate the HUD office closest to you, please select Your Local HUD Office which will connect you with the Web Page of each Field Office.

There are three competitive homeless assistance programs: the Supportive Housing Program, the Shelter Plus Care Program, and the Single Room Occupancy Program. By choosing any of these programs, you will be able to select the regulations and program guides applicable to each program.

The Emergency Shelter Grant Program is distributed nationally using a formula. Please select the Title V program to learn more about federal surplus property.
