To apply for most jobs at HUD, you will need to submit either an OF-612 Optional Application for Federal Employment, an SF-171 Application for Federal Employment (which you can request from any federal agency), or a resume'. If the job announcement includes “quality ranking factors” or “selective placement factors,” you should include a separate document that shows how your experience and abilities meet each of the factors.
