The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) has announces an
open tender on the procurement of 12.5 tons of bandage wire of PPI-u 2.24
make.
For participation in the tender, companies should submit the following
documents to the Department of Marketing and Import Operations Section of
the Foreign Economic Relations Department (FERD) of SOCAR:
- Application for participating in the tender;
- Bank document/receipt for payment of US$200 transferred to the
account of the FERD of SOCAR, or a bank guarantee for payment of the
participation fee in the above amount; the following bank account should be
used for the participation fee payment: International Bank of Azerbaijan:

- Documents about the participating company;
- When submitting the application, the participating company should
also present the guarantee of the bid at 2% of its cost. It can be paid in

Deadline for submission of these documents is 9 December, 1999.
The bid should be in a written form, signed, sealed, and presented by the
participating company one day before the start of the tender procedure, at
the latest. The bids should be submitted in two envelopes both signed and
sealed by the participant.
