Gore-Stepashin Commission—U.S.-Russia Business Development Committee, jointly with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, has developed Basic Guidelines for Codes of Business Conduct for Russia based on widely accepted principles of good business practices. The Basic Guidelines will be presented for discussion at the conference organized by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development to be held in Novgorod, Russia, July 22-23, 1999. The Basic Guidelines have been posted on www.oecd.org/daf/psd/acnetwork.htm and BISNIS Online at www.bisnis.doc.gov.
