PROCUREMENT TENDER ANNOUNCED FOR YEREVAN THERMO POWER STATION

     The Yerevan Thermo Power Station State Closed Joint Stock Company (SCJSC), in coordination with the Ministry of Energy of Armenia, invites Armenian and foreign companies to submit bids for the following tender: procurement of thermoinsulators, chemicals, welding electrodes and hydroinsulators.  The value of the procurement will be around USD 120,000-140,000.  From 100Kg up to 15MT of different types of materials will be purchased.

 

     There are three sets of tender packages: thermoinsulators and hydroinsulators; chemicals; and welding electrodes.  The packages can be obtained from the Yerevan Thermo Power Station SCJSC upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 15,000 Drams (around USD 30) for each one.  Foreign contractors will be charged an additional fee of USD 50 per package to cover postage expenses.  Fees should be paid directly to Yerevan Thermo Power Station SCJSC, or transferred to the following account:

     The bids must be submitted to the Yerevan Thermo Power Station SCJSC by 16:00 on February 17, 2000.

     Companies can also take advantage of the Department of Commerce's Business Facilitation Service (BFS) offered by the American Embassy, Yerevan.  Through this program, companies can order bidding documents by sending their requests to the Embassy, which will forward the documents to the requesting company via express mail.  Please note that there is an administrative fee for this service.
