RESUBMITTING APPLICATIONS WITH ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION
All incomplete cases (prior refusals) being returned to the State Department, Visa Office, (CA/VO/P/D) for processing will be treated as new applications and will start at the beginning of the reissuance process. If you do not have time to complete the processing in the United States, you should pursue your application at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate when you are abroad.
The OF-156 (Nonimmigrant Visa Form) will not be returned with your other supporting documents. Therefore, be sure to include a new completed and signed OF-156 with photograph when you resubmit the complete application packet.
