DIABLO CANYON MEETING TO BE RESCHEDULED
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff has canceled a July 2 public meeting with officials from Pacific Gas & Electric Co. at its regional office in Arlington, Texas. NRC staff had planned to discuss problem identification and resolution and human performance issues at the Diablo Canyon power plant, operated by PG&E in San Luis Obispo, California. Efforts are underway to reschedule the meeting at a later date in the San Luis Obispo County area to accommodate stakeholder interest.
