| The Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s
Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards will hold a public meeting December
3-6 in Rockville, Md. The committee will discuss, among other items, a draft
ACRS report on the NRC Safety Research Program, as well as the draft final construction
inspection program framework for advanced reactor designs.
The meeting will be held in Room T-2B3 of the agency’s Two White Flint North building, at 11545 Rockville Pike. The meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. on December 3, and at 8:30 a.m. the succeeding days. The meeting will be open to the public, except for the following sessions, which will be closed to discuss safeguards and security issues: December 3, 6:45 p.m. - 7:15 p.m., and possibly portions of the following sessions, which will be closed if security-related reports are discussed; December 4, 3:30 p.m. - 7 p.m; December 5, 2 p.m. - 7 p.m.; and December 6, 8:30 a.m. - Noon.
