PUBLIC MEETING NOVEMBER 20 ON LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION
FOR D.C. COOK NUCLEAR PLANT

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m., at Lake Charter Township Hall, 3220 Shawnee Road, in Bridgman, Michigan. Members of the public are invited to ask questions and comment on license renewal issues the NRC should consider in its review of the application.

The purpose of the meeting is for the NRC staff to provide information on how the license renewal process works and how the public can participate in this process.

The NRC received the license renewal application for D.C. Cook Nuclear Power Station from Indiana Michigan Power Company on November 3.

The license renewal application is available on the agency’s Web site at this address: http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams/web-based.html by entering accession number ML033070179. In addition, copies of the license renewal application are available at the Maud Preston Palenske Memorial Library, 500 Market St., St. Joseph, Michigan, and the Bridgman Public Library, 4460 Lake St., Bridgman, Michigan.
