NRC NAMES LOIS M. JAMES RESIDENT INSPECTOR AT INDIAN POINT 3 NUCLEAR PLANT
Nuclear Regulatory Commission officials in King of Prussia, Pa., have appointed Lois M. James the agency's resident inspector at the Indian Point 3 nuclear plant in Buchanan,
New York. Ms. James joins NRC Senior Resident Inspector Peter Drysdale.
Ms. James joined the NRC's Region I office as a reactor engineer in 1997. From 1997 through this year she was a region-based inspector conducting engineering, maintenance, and
operations inspections at various Region I nuclear plants. Before joining the agency, Ms. James worked as an environmental engineer at the Department of Energy in Germantown,
Md., and as a staff engineer for Bechtel Power Corporation in Gaithersburg, Md. She received a Master of Environmental Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a
Bachelor of Nuclear Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
