NOTE TO EDITORS:

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) has scheduled a meeting of its subcommittee on plant license renewal on November 18 in Rockville, Maryland.

The subcommittee will review the staff's resolution of the issues identified in the Safety Evaluation Report on the license renewal of Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant Units 1 and 2, as well as related license renewal activities.

The meeting will be held in Room T-2B1 of the agency's Two White Flint North Building, at 11545 Rockville Pike, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
