NOTE TO EDITORS:

Nuclear Regulatory Commission officials will meet with representatives of Northeast Nuclear Energy Company (NNECO) on Wednesday, December 15, to discuss the company's assessment of recent performance at Millstone Units 2 and 3. The plants are located in Waterford, Conn.

The meeting, which is open to the public for observation, will be held at 1:00 p.m., in the Leland F. Sillin Nuclear Training Center at the Millstone site.
