RIV: 99-36 October 28, 1999 NRC to Discuss Sequoyah Fuels Decommissioning The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission will discuss the decommissioning of the Sequoyah Fuels Corp. site, a former uranium conversion facility near Gore, Okla., at a public meeting in Webbers Falls, Okla. The meeting will take place at City Hall in Webbers Falls, 101 N. River St., on Wednesday, November 3 from 8-10 p.m. All interested citizens and media are invited to attend the round-table discussion and to ask questions. NRC representatives will discuss the Sequoyah Fuels Corp. decommissioning plan, including groundwater remediation, the status and schedule of the NRC's environmental impact statement, and the status of the Oklahoma Attorney General's request for a formal hearing on the license amendment to decommission the plant. ### | |||||
