NRC ISSUES REPORT ON WASTE BURIAL CHARGES

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued a report on waste burial charges that nuclear power plant licensees can use to make the required annual adjustment of their decommissioning cost estimates. Licensees now have the option of using waste processing vendors for the disposal of most of their decommissioning waste.
