NOTE TO EDITORS:
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on Nuclear Waste has scheduled a technical meeting December 15-17 in Rockville, Maryland.
Topics to be discussed include decommissioning activities; the high-level radioactive waste program, including developments at the proposed Yucca Mountain project; and programs in the spent fuel projects office.
Other aspects of the meeting, including an opportunity for public comment, will be described in a forthcoming edition of the Federal Register.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will be held in Room T-2B3 of the NRC's Two White Flint North Building at 11545 Rockville Pike. It will begin at 8:30 a.m. each day and continue until 6:00 p.m. on December 15 and 16, and until 4:00 p.m. on December 17.
