No. 98-190
October 22, 1998
NOTE TO EDITORS:
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has received three reports from its Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards following the Committee's meetings September 2-4, and September 30-October 2. The reports, in the form of letters, provide comments on the Nuclear Energy Institute's petition for rulemaking to amend paragraph (a) of 10 CFR 50.54, conditions of licenses; the risk-informed pilot application for hydrogen monitoring at Arkansas Nuclear One, Units 1 and 2; and the proposed priority rankings of generic safety issues.
Copies of the reports are available through the NRC's Office of Public Affairs, the NRC's Internet homepage (http://www.nrc.gov/ACRSACNW) and the Public Document Room in Washington, D.C.
