NOTE TO EDITORS:

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff has scheduled the following meetings on Millstone Station:

On Tuesday morning, November 24, the NRC staff will meet with officials of Northeast Utilities to discuss the findings of an NRC evaluation of the Millstone Employee Concerns Program and Safety-Conscious Work Environment. The meeting is scheduled to be held from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in Meeting Room 2 at the Leland F. Sillin Training Center at the Millstone site.

Following that meeting, at 9 a.m., the NRC staff will meet with NU and representatives of Little Harbor Consultants to discuss Little Harbor's findings and recommendations regarding the Millstone Employee Concerns Program and Safety Conscious Work Environment. NU also will make a presentation to the NRC regarding its own assessment of the status of activities/performance in those areas. This meeting also will be held in Meeting Room 2 at the Training Center.
